The article made me chuckle because Tabb said he lost his love for football. I wonder if this has anything to do with playing under McCarthy, because I must say as fans, most of us did too. I can't imagine rigid, non creative football is particularly fun to play- it certainly wasn't to watch- so I can understand why he fell out of love with it.

True that, the feelings had gone out of the club. I mean, we're still watching football that's bad to watch and doing a lot worse now too, but it doesn't change the fact that large parts of Mick's time was a borefest.
