That will be reduced when Downes is sold.

Goodbye and transfer fees being paid for the next few seasons

And then the wage cap kicks in!

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Those who want Marcus Evans out of our club should probably think again.

Because it's been plain sailing with him so far.

Yes there are worse owners out there, but as a club we've got consistently backwards under him.

Is this a reason why the club got Woolfie to sign a new contract?

Still be £9m to find then.

Other than MM, Evans has consistently failed to recruit the right managers, and led us to our worst league position in our history.

The club is just a shell of what it was before he arrived.

I’m not a bedsheet holding ‘Evans Out’ kind of guy, but for what he’s done to our club I’ll be very happy the day he leaves.

The £10 million hole assumes all ST's will ask for a full refund for games missed, I think a significant number will do what we intend to do and not ask for a refund. At least I would hope this is the case for those who are fortunate enough to be able to do this.

Indeed. We really need the season to start in September though and with crowds.

This is the problem with Evans isn't it? I genuinely don't think he want us to get WORSE and might even want us to be a great side again but he's ultimately lacking the will, know-how and insight to actually genuinely achieve but is basically decent enough to to completely cut us adrift.

He's basically the David Brent of club owners. A basically good bloke, who hasn't got a fooking clue.

I don't think it will be business as usual come September.

The first thing he needs to do is get rid of our ridiculously overpaid Manager then. I should think in terms of value provided against salary earned, he must be the least cost effective Manager in World football.

It’s the cost he has to bear for his disasterous management of our club over the past decade.

He’d still have to pay him off though.

Just about sums up this fan base that.

I saw on Twitter the other day someone said we should be ‘careful what we wish for’ and should be grateful with Evans, just because he renewed Woolfenden’s contract. As PL always says ‘dear oh dear’.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…
