He's not a Premier League player, so no doubt its a good opportunity for B'mouth to not sink a further few million a year into him by way of salary. He'll sign for a Swansea or Boro on £20k a week and be distinctly average for them. | |

The reason that I was disappointed to see Middlesborough lose was a hope that all the teams below Wigan would gain enough points to overtake that club in administration (as it looks likely that the twelve point deduction will not be applied until next season). A Wigan team with the wheels off the bandwagon and financially impoverished would be a better bet for us to finish above in the Third Division next season compared to Middlesborough, Hull or Stoke. | |
