Being the crisp connoisseur that I am, I've been thinking about pecking order. What are we saying?
Champions League: Manomasa (If you've not tried them, please do), Mccoys, Pringles.
Premier League: Wotsits, Skips, Quavers.
Championship: Regular Walkers, Kettle Chips, Mini Cheddars, Monster Munch.
Conference: Wheat Crunchies, Space Raiders, Chipsticks, Squares.
SIL Div 4: Twiglets.

I would have said Fish N Chips as you're including things that aren't crisps, the salt vinegar were eye wateringly good in terms of flavour, however they seem to have changed in the last year or so, probably cut down on salt or something and aren't a patch on what they were.
Pringles are pants, expensive pants.
Pickled onion monster munch are satisfyingly dirty, Brannigans Roast Beef and Mustard are very good. |  |

Been out of the country for almost seven years now, so some of the newer brands I've never heard of, but Nice N Spicy Nik Naks have to be at the top, nothing comes close (Rib N Saucy at the front of the pelaton).
I have a huge fondness for Seabrooks having lived up north for most of the 90s - I much prefer them to McCoys, but it's been years since I tried them so I suspect my fondness is more related to nostalgia rather than the quality of the crisps.
However, nothing comes close to the Australian Original Salted Smiths Chips. Crinkled potato perfection.
(not to be confused by Smiths Crisps from the UK - which are cheap school packed lunch fodder).
The only thing wrong with the Australian Smiths is the fact we call them chips down under - which is just wrong. Bizarrely, chips, as in deep fried potatoes served with battered fish are called 'hot chips' in Australia (rather than fries).
Our kids have been down under for most of their lives so when we ask what crisps they want us to get from the supermarket, they keep telling us that they're called chips not crisps. |  | | |
