Parking at home games 17:35 - Jul 13 with 1194 viewsCheltenham_Blue

Where do people normally park for home games. I normally park in the Crown multi-story, but might look for somewhere else next season for a quicker exit.

I'll be heading out toward the M25 on the A12.

You tried parking on the verges along Birkfield Drive? Quick getaway and through Chantry and onto the A12 near Copdock.

Just park the same as the other cars and you should be ok for a parking ticket.

Not sure if that school on Paul's Road (off London Road) still opens but that was a decent option for a quickish getaway onto London Rd.

Thats one place I was thinking about. Not too much of a walk and literally drive past it on the way in. If it still opens, that might be the place.

If it's the place I'm thinking of then they changed a couple of years ago. You now have to buy a "season ticket" for the parking.

I use the car park opposite the cinema and McDonalds, Normally on the A12 within about 15 mins of leaving the car park ( heading roughly same way too A12-M25 then M3.

I had one until a couple of years ago. Then they closed for a year due to building works going on and said they would be in touch again. Then they just never seemed to reopen. I've had to use the station since but that seems to have doubled in price over the last 24 months, so am also looking for new options.

Do like people do at the suffolk show and more or less park right in the middle of Bucklesham Road.

You'd probably be better off parking at the Station, then heading off to the A12 via Burrell Road/Belstead Road to avoid the crowds*

Side streets off the bottom end of Belstead Road.

10 minute walk to the ground (down Willoughby Road, past the station etc), and you can cut up through Stoke Park Drive, Thorrington Park, Belstead village and Copdock back to the A12 in no time at all.
