Cheers mate.
Yea i'm craving a pizza which i'm planning to have in 2-3 weeks. Agree about the feeling of earning it. Nothing worse than being a super fat f**k knowing you shouldn't be having it.
Hope your lungs heal up (if that's possible) and things get easier for you.
Nimble bread is fairly good if you want a lower calorie option. 50 kcals a slice.
Pizza is gods food, enjoy my man.
Yeah, from what I've been told it's possible it'll be okay, we will give it a good go!
I don't really ever miss bread when we don't have it mate. If it's in the house I'll have sarnies for lunch, make toast for breakfast and occasionally as I did over the weekend indulge in a cheese toastie, but if it's not there I don't crave it.

I haven't seen them since I was a little boy, my Grandmother always used to have them for dinner and we'd have them there. They're like peeled baby potatoes, not sure if they're reconstituted to look like potatoes or if the texture is a bit odd because they're from a tin, but I seem to remember them being a bit different.
I've never heard or seen of a potato in a tin. Mind blown.

I think the Hovis Nimble 'Danish' loaves are free from palm oil too, the Warburtons ones certainly are.
[edit] Welcome back by the way, I sort of noticed you were gone. That being said it was only when I posted about Dalian Atkinson in the 'natural goalcorers' thread that I wondered 'where has that poster called Dalliance got to - c'mon footers, work some more magic...

All of my magic is currently being used to summon Cara Delevigne to appear in my gaff. I think it's starting to work as the postman this morning did have very nice eyebrows.

I've done southern fried chicken in it (although it's a big of a messy clean up) but other chicken should also work.
Can do little baked things in it, homemade chips if you wanted, weirdly I think you can even do hard-boiled eggs in them.
It's essentially just works as a mini oven otherwise.
I expect I'll go down a YouTube rabbit hole, then realise I'd rather not spend any money on anything I don't actually need at the moment and carry on going about my day until the next distraction...

Sounds like an excellent afternoon if you asked me.
I watched a guy making bizarre sausages for a good 2 hours the other week.

It's about the size of a deep fat fryer but rather than oil it cooks by circulating hot air. They sell it as a gadget to 'enjoy fried food with less oil' and usually recommend you use a tablespoon-ish of oil but I don't bother. I prefer cooking things without the oil.
I actually like throwing a tin of potatoes in there when in a rush. They crisp up in there really nicely.
a tin of potatoes? potatoes come in tins? well that's my education for the day.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

I've never really made them properly to their suggested method to be honest. I like just chopping up some baby potatoes, boiling them then air frying them without any oil. They come out great.
The lads at the office swear by their air fryer, so another vote for them here.
(They get to buy gadgets when they pull a nice little upsell, or flog a reconditioned exchange PC. They're also proud joint owners of a freezer and microwave oven, bought like that.)
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

My cooking has improved dramatically to be fair.
Bought a steamer. I use my air fryer daily without adding any oil at all.
The air fryer might be the best thing i've ever bought.
The best way to sum up the change in diet is i'm no longer obsessed with protein. I was eating crap like a whole pack of Quorn sausages and just having them with bread so I got a ton of protein and didn't lose my muscle (facepalm). Diet is now much more whole food, plant based. The thing is I can make a veg stew or a curry or something and not miss the meat. I was packing it out with chicken or beef for the protein (facepalm). Now I can make it without the meat, eat more of it, enjoy it more and be much healthier.
Clearly i'm not the only protein obsessive as protein spiked 'foods' are everywhere at the moment. Crap spiked with soy protein in every aisle.
As I said, a lifestyle change instead of a diet. Finally.
