It jogged a memory for me, the type of thing I used to walk past in a Presto supermarket whilst thinking 'Mum used to buy those in Fine Fare'.

Blusmart 82 pounds. Like others, most used kitchen gadget* *Errrrmm for avoidance of any concern to literalists, I just need to clear up the ambiguity. It is the Blusmart that is the most used gadget in my kitchen, and not, that I am the most used kitchen gadget, nor did I mean to imply other posters are gadgets, that are used a lot, in kitchens.

i'm buying some the next chance i get. i'm also going to inspect the shelves more closely - there may be all sorts of things in tins: onions, lettuce, cheese? it's a whole new world.
| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

I remember when everyone had to have a George Foreman. Didn't realise TWTDers were such suckers for a fad. Still, it comes with a recipe app with over 200 dishes to airfry.

These are nothing like that you daft sausage.* I don't have one but know a number of people who do and they tend to get regular - if not daily - use in many households. Instead of an oven, fryer etc. *you can do sausages too.

Can't see the point in this, how can it be cheaper or nicer than fresh potatoes? Also 'packed from fresh' isn't much of a claim.

I remain sceptical. It's just a little convection oven isn't it?

The point is they're healthier. Look, I happen to like my roast potatoes cooked in a good mix of rape and sunflower with plenty of garlic and thyme. I also baste pork chops with butter to keep them from drying. An Actifry would probably keep me alive an extra few years and I fully understand why people have them. Definitely not a gimmick. Honest guv.

The one a mate had has a turntable which gave even cooking etc. I have no idea if they all have that feature but assume so?
