Great natural ability, but it really does seem like he's just not quite up to the overall standards required to be a professional footballer unfortunately.

I'd suggest his situation is somewhat different to McGoldrick's.
Yes, McGoldrick was on the wrong end of some injuries and spent time on the sidelines, but what's really concerning in my opinion is how few 90 minutes Teddy has actually completed in professional football.
In his debut season where he made 33 of his appearances he was often the first man to come off, around the 70 minute mark, clearly because he was a young lad and required a degree of protection, however the trend has stuck well into his 20's unfortunately.
I'm not sure how many years he's got left on his contract, but I'd suggest next season is the now or never season for Bishop at Ipswich Town.
He needs to be playing 90 minutes, week-in-week-out. If he can put together a string of consecutive performances there's a chance all is not lost, but I have to say I'm skeptical. | | | |

I can't remember actual figures, but he was a decent option off the bench in my first season, got rid of him once we made the Premier League, initially on loan to Hearts then he left on a freebie to Kilmarnock.
Brought him back to the club as a youth team coach and had him coaching the England U19's (Dyer as manager) think he's still in that role in game. | | | |
