Everything written is just a story. There's always two or more sides to every story, and it takes a learned mind understand that and a brave person to admit and apologise when they are wrong. Yes my punctuation isn't always the greatest, partly because I'm on my phone and a bit lazy at rechecking everything I've written. If my punctuation offends you more than the subject matter, I think you need some help on your priorities in life. The psyche is to do with psychiatry, not psychology, that you don't understand even that shows how much you know on the subject. Keep going, try to upset me, it won't work. I'm very comfortable with who I am and what I do, I don't feel the need to pick others apart to sway a discussion.

This will upset some.... on 20:22 - Jul 16 by LittleBoyBlue | I don't believe we should let her back into the country, she renounced her right to live here when she left and both joined and supported a terrorist organisation, dedicated to killing every single person here, if they had the chance. She said she wasn't a British citizen anymore, when she was found in ISIS, so she willingly chose to revoke her citizenship. As for calling her a child, may I remind you all the age of criminal responsibility in this country is 12, every teenager at that age is considered educated enough to understand the difference between right and wrong and their choices have consequences. She could still claim nationality in Bangladesh, where she still has dozens of relatives, who have said they are willing to help her, Bangladesh cannot, by the same international law that the UK is held to, stop her applying to live there. If she does return, she should face the same penalty all terrorists who kill innocents face, a life sentence. She says she only witnessed and rejoiced in the deaths of others, yet security forces are still investigating reports she actually partook in the killing of several people, either through preparation of IEDs or directly as one 'witness' has claimed before he died, that she killed an injured teenage boy. I ask this honestly, would any of you actually be happy and feel safe if she moved into the house next door, given her history, after all if you can't forgive a racist slave trader who became a philanthropist with their disgusting practices, how can you forgive someone who revels in the deaths of others and think they should be treated better. I call that a double standard, anyone who abuses others or joins in with it should never be allowed to spread that ingrained hate to others in polite society. |
Incredible! She is too bad for us so send her to Bangladesh, let it be their problem. The breathtaking arrogance of the colonialist. Lots of people i would not want to live next door to but not sure we could send them all to the colonies. This is not the 19th century and we don't rule the waves anymoe

I had this discussion a few days back, I have been here for years. New phone and computer a few months back due to mine being stolen, has meant I lost all access to all sites as I'm useless at remembering passwords that are years old and I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of try to recover them, it takes 10 seconds to create a new account on most places, so that's what I did. You keep trying to attack me personally rather than addressing the facts, and/or my opinion on the subject, that's your choice. It's just not something rational people do, they discuss things to learn more. We have before, and I do so hope we do. I admit to having a weakness for enjoying the repartee that comes from such learned minds as yourself, Jeera and Spruce. You would all make good people to analyse properly, the fragility of the ego that we all have, yet some respond to it negatively others positively.

No, she didn't want to be here anymore, she chose to revoke her status when she was in ISIS, she said she never wanted to return to the country she hated. So trying to paint me as a colonialist, would be way off the mark. I was pointing to the facts of the situation and gave my opinion on the matter, it doesn't mean I am saying she should just be shunted off to Bangladesh, what I said is she wanted to no longer be a British national, so why should we not accede to her choice, even though she's now changed her mind on that because she's desperate for a place to live. She will always have the option to become a Bangladeshi citizen, so she's not stateless, regardless of the fact whether she is granted full status here again or not, which hasn't yet finished because she has an appeal pending.

How many times do you need to be told that saying something out loud doesn't necessarily make it legal before it sinks in. The answer to your question about why we shouldn't just revoke her citizenship is in this very thread ffs. We can't, and we shouldn't. Read the thread. Accept facts into your life. They'll do you more good than senseless opinions. And for the final fecking time, Bangladesh does not want her and have no obligation to take her. Other than that, great post genius.

" I was pointing to the facts of the situation and gave my opinion on the matter," It's just waffle. When in school at 14 years old these are the sentences you write thinking you sound clever. "How many words can I squeeze in to pad out my sentences? They'll be well impressed." Then make some random accusations about other people being 'unintelligent'. "That'll get 'em."

I didn't say it wasn't. The difference between the two is basically I'm in the therapy area as a psychologist, whereas a psychiatrist is more doctor like, they diagnose and prescribe medications for treatments, they deal with effects of mental illness in way I don't. I treat patients with therapy, not with drugs. The psyche is dealt with more in psychiatry than psychology, because it's to with the state of the whole mind, body and soul (to quote Jung), therefore it's far more more important for a psychiatrist to learn about it as they are unable to diagnose without studying the state of someone's mind. In psychology we have no need to delve as deep into a humans mind and past to offer therapeutic treatment, we may know and understand all about it, but it's not really relevant to our job, which is healing peoples egos, their sense of self which is damaged due to trauma, recent or old, physical or mental. Psychiatry does that with medication, they don't offer therapy in the same way. So yes the psyche is more relevant to psychiatry than to psychology, as to us it has no relevance if it's not useful in helping a patient to understand and heal themselves.

You continue to offer no intelligent discussion to the matter at hand, all you keep trying to do is to manipulate people into thinking anything I've written isn't correct by trying to insult, browbeat and belittle, just like the cowardly bullies you are. I suggest you go open a book and learn something, then you might understand the magnitude of your stupidity. I noticed not one of you has yet managed to challenge the facts I mentioned, that are in the original article too(which you never read properly), all you are doing is trying to save some dignity from your bruised egotistical natures so you can claim a hollow victory that you managed to insult a person you never met because they called you out for spreading hateful lies to suit your own twisted agendas. So please, if you don't have the intelligence to continue the original discussion, I would prefer not to have to respond to your ignorant fragile ego "because the bad man made me look stopid on a forum by pointing out facts I couldn't refute by reasoned discussions" You are worse than 5 yr old children.

Your continued attempts to insult rather than discuss facts, shows even a dead badger has more intelligence than you. Again, I have nothing to prove, it's not my fault you are incapable of reading full sentences and understanding basic English, that's on you. I will ask for the nth time, if you have nothing relevant to add to the discussion..... then ask yourself why you keep trying to insult others rather than writing about the subject and facts in hand. You are a bore and a bully nothing more. You add nothing to good to society's genepool, so why continue to bother with pathetic insults. Either start showing facts and other articles to prove your claims, like I have shown you up several times with, or just crawl back in to your damp little hole. You are boring matey with zero facts but plenty of insulting bluster, c'mon just show the veracity of any of your statements, just one provable fact that can be checked......you aren't able, hence the constant insults.

Yes all those years at university and the degrees I have on the wall of my office are completely fabrication of my mind, I fabricated a 30 year work career, just so I can pull the wool over your eyes. Now you have found my deep dark secret (sarcasm, as you are incapableof understanding it), can you please stop insulting people and ACTUALLY PROVIDE SOME EVIDENCE THAT IS RELEVANT TO THE DISCUSSION, BECAUSE I HAVE YET TO SEE ANYTHING WRITTEN BY YOU THAT ACTUALLY ADDRESSES THE FACTS PRESENTED, YOU ARE FAR MORE LIKE TRUMP THAN ME, MAKING BASELESS ACCUSATIONS AND THROWING INSULTS AROUND BECAUSE YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF PROVIDING ANY TRUTHFUL STATEMENTS. So please either stop embarrassing yourself and provide some evidence and details of the facts instead of just trying to bully people with insulting bluster, to avoid the fact you are completely wrong yet again.
