Championship relegated clubs 17:10 - Jul 18 with 1147 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Probably already been done somewhere but I will have missed it - apologies if a repeat. They finish their season on Wednesday (and only Barnsley and possibly Hull can already be preparing for League 1). We start pre-season training this week. The relegated clubs are going to be at a disadvantage for not being able to give their players a decent break aren't they?

They aren’t. If Wigan are deducted points then hull can still survive. They just need to win at Cardiff, who need to draw at least and hope Luton lose and hope Wigan don’t and that they’ve also been deducted points.

Championship relegated clubs on 17:43 - Jul 18 with 1039 views | tractordownsouth | Looks like Hull, Barnsley and Wigan. Barnsley will be top 2 contenders I reckon. Wigan and Hull are likely to be mid table or play offs at absolute best with all their issues. Although he seems like a bit of an arse, I'd have liked Nathan Jones to have been our manager before he went back to Luton

Barnsley look good and should have the right budget as yo yo team Hull are in free fall but do they have a prem parachute? Wigan - are in admin but new owner and team look strong. Luton team look good Charlton - struggling due to 2 players refusing to play who are goalscorers Could Birmingham go down?

I suppose that's true but it depends how many of that squad remain after relegation, not that they can be that good?

Wigan look decent and may stay up despite their owner. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Wigan going down would be bad news. They're a solid mid-table Championship team and would walk League One. Luton with Nathan Jones back in charge would likely be in the top six at the very least. Probably top three. Barnsley are decent and would be play-off challengers. Same with Charlton. Hull are hopeless and I couldn't see them turning it around to be in any fit state to make a top six push. Their form since January is worse than Town's in 2018/19. If I was to pick three who we might have a chance of finishing above next season it would be Hull, Barnsley and Charlton.

Championship relegated clubs on 23:22 - Jul 18 with 757 views | J2BLUE | It shows how far we've fallen that we're worrying about opposition clubs in league one. Our aim should be to win the league, whoever comes down. We cannot allow the same excuses (albeit valid ones) we heard in the Championship to be used at this level. There is no reason whatsoever for us to fear anyone in this league. We need to change the mentality or we'll soon find ourselves as an established run of the mill league one team.

I’d rather it not be Luton. Luton under Nathan Jones at this level would be a force. Charlton I think will lose Bowyer if they go down. Given off field issues as well, could struggle next year. Barnsley could be a good side though. Struber is a very good coach, many successful years in the Red Bull franchise in Austria. Would be wary of them.
