'... what is the real purpose?' - That is the most pertinent question and one which few of those promoting these theories really answer. What do the alleged conspirators hope to gain which they do not already have (given they supposedly possess the power, money and influence to organise wide-reaching international conspiracies of immense complexity*)?
* But not great secrecy or efficiency, given they are continually found out by random blokes on the internet, nor have they successfully managed to impose some sort of totalitarian sci-fi dystopia.
Ahh..that's just what the conspirators want you to think.

You actively asserted that there was some truth in Quanon and pizzagate.
From Wiki (not a perfect source I know).
" According to Travis View, who has studied the QAnon phenomenon and written about it extensively for The Washington Post, the essence of the conspiracy theory is that:
there is a worldwide cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles who rule the world, essentially, and they control everything. They control politicians, and they control the media. They control Hollywood, and they cover up their existence, essentially. And they would have continued ruling the world, were it not for the election of President Donald Trump. Now, Donald Trump in this conspiracy theory knows all about this evil cabal's wrongdoing. But one of the reasons that Donald Trump was elected was to put an end to them, basically. And now we would be ignorant of this behind-the-scenes battle of Donald Trump and the U.S. military–that everyone backs him and the evil cabal–were it not for 'Q.' And what 'Q' is–is basically a poster on 4chan, who later moved to 8chan, who reveals details about this secret behind-the-scenes battle, and also secrets about what the cabal is doing and also the mass sort of upcoming arrest events through these posts."[16]
Which bits are true?
So now Trump is the good guy?!

Note remotely interested tbh.
Can we take it you are no longer positively asserting that there is "some truth" in it? Why not just say so!
There is some truth in the idea that sexual abuse is happening in high circles. Epstein being the example I’ve already given. Prince Andrew? Weinstein? Clinton photoed on Epstein’s island? These are dots that connect. Elements of truth.
Two people have already asserted I am not backing up either theory and have simply said there elements of truth to both (alas to highly incorrect conclusions).

So the "truth" in it, is simply the established fact that Epstein wasnt very nice, and that Prince Andrew seemed friendly with him?
Seriously. The OP expressed concern that a police chief had a mug which suggests he takes an interest in this absurd conspiracy theory. Your answer was not "yeah- worrying- the only thing they seem to get right is that Epstein was nasty, which everyone already knows". Instead you appeared to be defending Quanon and pizzagate as things which were not completely batshyte.
The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it.

No, it’s that Epstein has a rather shady network of people who have visited his island and has been on his private jet, that align with testimony of women who claim to have been abused by famous/powerful people on said island.
I know you’re DESPERATE to out me as some kind of conspiracy theorist here, but ain’t gonna happen. Unfortunately if you’ve let the whole Epstein stuff go past you you’re not the best person to really talk about other sexual abuse conspiracy theories.
Not sure how much more you need to read into that, other than still clinging onto the already explained fact I wasn’t defending either. If you think it’s “just Epstein being a bit nasty” you really haven’t paid attention.

I dont have to make you out to be anything.
You have said that Quanon and pizzagate have some truth to them. I shall leave it there.
We haven't even got to pizzagate yet...

They’re all linked.
🤦â€â™‚ï¸
Yes, but the topic being discussed was specifically the validity of QAnons views and the Pizzagate theories - watching one Epstein documentary isn’t a requirement to having a view
Had the thread specifically been about the Epstein documentary on Netflix then you may have a point, but it isn’t

That’s like discussing an ITFC game but refusing to acknowledge half the team that played though.

Really? What would actually happen if he did refuse to give up the Presidency? Surely there must be some law about refusing to give it up?
I can't believe the feds or the army would just say 'ok then!' so they would either arrest him or shoot him. In theory anyway.
Much like I explained to our resident psychologist the other night, just has you can't give away your citizenship, Trump can't just declare himself President for life. He needs the actual power centers like the Army generals to back him. Can't see it happening.
I expect that what will happen is that he will accept it and he is just ranting as usual.

Let's just hope it's bluster and he steps down quietly!

The armed forces are duty bound by US law to protect the office of the president, they aren't legally allowed to intervene in politics or in situations on US soil, with the exception of the President passing an executive order through the house of representatives and supreme court. So no they can't do anything legally.
Much like I correctly explained to you the other day, which you have yet to prove wrong. Anyone can revoke their national status and join any other country, providing they either have relatives living there or have lived there in 2 generations or the country in question wants them to join for other benefits (example, sports people for Olympic prominence). It involves going through immigration processes and sometimes courts, but doesn't necessarily have to happen that way as unless the country allows dual nationality, it would just be revoked without any due process in a court or immigration hearing.
The laws regarding the office of the president have been established since the inception of the '51 amendment. A president is only allowed to stand for a maximum of 2 terms as President, the exception to this rule is he can stand for a maximum of 10 years, only if he was not elected for the other term, so for example if the president died and the vice president took over, he could still then serve 2 full terms after this.
Trump, as all presidents are, is president for life, just they no longer hold office. To become a true president for life, so not leaving the office of the president, he would need the aforementioned courts and houses, to ratify a new bill of amendment to the constitution, which is certainly possible to do but very unlikely to happen due to the two party rule there, the other party would never agree to ratify.
So you are wrong on many counts there, yet again.
