Has an England team ever been so stocked for fast bowlers? 23:11 - Jul 20 with 716 viewsMelford

Compare it to the lean times of the 90s. Wood, Archer, Anderson, Woakes, Stokes, Broad, Curran.
Not so sure about the spin though, Bess was understudy to Jack Leach at Somerset and only got his chance when Leach went off to play for England. Leach's illness over the winter and Mo Ali taking a sabbatical meant he was the next cab off the rank spin wise and he's done alright but he's not as good as either Mo or Jack.

I guess 2005 - Jones, Harmison, Hoggard & Flintoff, Anderson starting out plus Cork & Gough still playing. Lewis, Tudor, Onions and Plunkett with honourable mentions.

Steve Finn is still playing as well and when he's in form he's a decent bowler. Tom Curran and Craig Overton are decent enough options as well. There's a lot of depth there and with Wood and Archer offering genuine pace we have a bit of variety as well. Our issue has always been lots of bowlers chucking it down at 82 mph and swinging it in English conditions but struggling overseas. Good to have some genuine quicks in the mix.

Hard to say for sure. People are assuming not but he keeps himself in cracking shape and if he's not over used he might make it.
