The club where the owner failed in their duty to supply requisite support is Wigan.
The club where the ownership group took over without being approved by the EFL is Charlton.
The statement says another competitor which suggests a different club who should be paying Barnsley, presumably in instalments - at a guess could be Luton for either Pearson or Moncur. | |

Fine the, the EFL migh5 well do , but you have to say Barnsley FC have said nothing that isn’t true.
The game in this Country is a shambles financially, and until the powers tha5 be actually take meaningful action against those who milk the system, flout the rules or just blatantly disregard them, the game will continue to go down the pan.
Start at the very top the so called “ premier league”. Stop this ridiculous parachute money. Clubs relegated failed. Do t bloody reward the, for it!! If Clubs don’t have this reward for failure they may think twice about giving greedy players and their agents ridiculous contracts that they can’t actually fund without their Sky pimp backing. The rot in the game began with Sky money, and the closed shop approach by the PL.

Wouldn’t put it past the EFL to reduce Wigan’s punishment by 2 pts so they stay up on goal difference. |  |
