Any recommendations for a business in the Hadleigh Suffolk area to fit out a whole house?

The whole thing seems to be a completely lottery but judging by the online reviews it’s best to keep away from the really large companies!

I'll tell you who not to use, Admiral Home Solutions, hopeless.

list of good experiences I've had

- Richard Green windows (soul trader)
- falcon windows (slightly pricier as bigish company)
- Ipswich windows (soul trader)

We’ll be good again... one day

I have a friend who is very good, pretty reaonable and the quality is good. He fitted for donkey's years for the big bad boys and knows what he's doing. He's based in Essex but am sure he'd travel to Suffolk for a decnt sized job, if you want contact details then drop me a DM.

As you've already said, avoid the big companies, 10-15% of what ypu pay will be for the salesman, 5% will be for the branch manager, 2.5% will be for the area manager and another 2.5% will be for the surveyor. Then you still have to pay for some one to fit them.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

If you can, look at products above the ubiquitous UPVC.

Ideal Combi are particularly good.
The difference is quality, airtightness, appearance, and longevity. I'm sure there are more but it's early!

Look at the National Self Build centre website. Loads there. Also Grand Designs website,

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
