Matty Taylor is a free agent, Gnauduillet is a free agent, Clarke-Harris may have to go for a sum in the early few hundred grands, Sam Winnall is a free agent, Tyler Walker is likely to be going out on a loan again.

Absolutely no excuse for us to miss out on one given the clubs we are up against in thej division and I doubt any will end up in the Championship. JCH maybe, Walker maybe.

It's quite clear we don't have a prolific striker at this level and all of the above are. Norwood is decent and Jackson decent but neither are going to fire us to promotion and every team wanting to go up needs a proven striker imo.

EDIT - Cross Taylor off. He's literally just this second been announced by Oxford.

Oxford have just announced it.

Sky won't care. They'll be busy talking about a Premier League players agents new trainers.

Matty was always going to go back to Oxford. Closer to good friends and family so a no-brainer. He's made his money at Bristol and won't be on a rubbish wage at Oxford considering he was top scorer.

Gnanduillet is an interesting one as his size and aerial ability would be a real asset for us provided we supply him. If we are to be shopping in the freebie market as widely reported then we can do a lot worse. Suspect a Wycombe, Rotherham or lower end championship club may take a cheap punt on him.

Tyler Walker would be ideal on a years loan but I’d imagine wages would be an issue as Forest would want most if not all of them covered.

Not convinced about gnanduillet. He's had 1 strong season and a decent one before that. Nothing of note previously.

He'll be after a decent pay day. I think a champ team.will.take a punt and he won't cut it. He'd do ok but not cheap.

Still convince Will Keane will have his best season for someone next season.

He'll play 20 games and score a career-best 4 goals?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
