It is a shame that Myles Kenlock didn't take his opportunity 13:06 - Aug 14 with 6734 views | MaySixth | sometimes I watched him and I thought he was pretty decent, sometimes not so good but not as bad as I thought most people make out on reflection he is probably a good League 2 player be a real bonus if he can improve this season, definite confidence player

It is a shame that Myles Kenlock didn't take his opportunity on 15:42 - Aug 14 with 1349 views | Wickets | I have always thought it is a mixture of concentration and confidence that lets Miles down at time's and it was me that pointed out that he was more or less an ever present during our best run last season. I agree with the point Garbutt in front of him would have been great and a good leftie alongside of him would be a great help as well . Two right sided centre backs did not help us or him last season .

It is a shame that Myles Kenlock didn't take his opportunity on 15:30 - Aug 14 by longtimefan | I'd say he was more like the opposite. Occasionally spectacular going forward but completely untrustworthy defensively. Was horribly exposed on lots of occasions while on loan at Shrewsbury and Rotherham. |
He won young player of the season whilst on loan in Rotherham promotion winning team.

Wasn't that partly down to them not having any other regular first team players under the age of 21?

I always thought the problem was he looks like an ancient Egyptian woman, and runs even more funnily than Owen Garvan. Genuinely a fan though. There's a quality footballer in there. Don't agree about having an equally suspect defender in front of him though.

FFS! He still won the award. How on earth can that be seen as a negative? [Post edited 14 Aug 2020 16:29]

It is a shame that Myles Kenlock didn't take his opportunity on 17:27 - Aug 14 with 1245 views | istanblue | Kenlock is a decent player and comes in for unfair criticism at times. He's decent going forward (good pace, can go past a man and can put a cross in) but it's his defensive ability (or lack thereof) that lets him down. His positional awareness is fairly poor and I have NEVER seen him win a contested header (can't jump properly). In my opinion he's a LWB who can threaten going forward but is very limited in terms of his defensive capabilities.

I’ve always thought he’s quite good in the air for a full back! | | | | Login to get fewer ads
It is a shame that Myles Kenlock didn't take his opportunity on 17:29 - Aug 14 with 1235 views | Shawsey | Always looks to have an error in him. Should be coached out of him by now. L1 shouldn't be a problem for him, but somehow is. Training ground for him and it should be sorted.

It is a shame that Myles Kenlock didn't take his opportunity on 13:23 - Aug 14 by davblue | He doesn't look like a natural footballer to me. His technique when kicking the ball looks like a real struggle, his athleticism it looks like he's running with him dragging a tyre behind him. He's not good enough for us , no where near it. |
For us in L1, he is. | | | |

Well there you go. I'm no great fan of his but I would say one of his better attributes was his aerial ability - certainly better than Garbutt in that respect, who was definitely weak in the air defensively. It's also something I think a lot of people pushing Nydam as a left back forget - he's not very big!

You're forgotting that our manager doesn't appear to 'do coaching'.

This is one of the most inaccurate descriptions of Kenlock I've ever seen.
