Sweden has been quite a popular spot for English footballers either on loan, or for lads not quite cut out for the top three tiers here.
Interesting article here about Ytterhogdals IK in the fourth tier of Swedish football, managed by an Englishman Alex Clapham and with a number of English players, all making a living playing football.

Mathias Karlsson will remain number 1 over there. They have seen an injury to number 2, which is likely rule him for the season, so Harry will be going to fill that spot. | |

True, but if he is sitting on the bench that’s not playing games and before he knows it the season is over again and he’s still no further forward with his development, but another year older. Exactly. One injury away from playing competitive football vs probably two or three with us currently plus the experience of a new league and different coaching, it can't hurt. | |
