or is it 'just pre-season tension'

I read comments about the dressing room being "lost", is that just wishful thinking or are we back to a Wurst Scenario

Its bank holiday, I'm working, I'm bored and could use some cheering up

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

Why do you wish a disease on another human? Are you that invested into ITFC that you wish ME had cancer or such? Bro, that is pretty psychopathic.

Odd that people get so personal on an anonymous football fan forum. I think it was Bluefish who on stated a couple of days ago that it would be “in the interest of the club” if some of the ITFC fan base were to die.

Unbelievable really.

Your life must be very limited if you seriously wish life threatening illness on another human being because of a game. Take care. And sorry your flyover banner didn't get the funding

The weird thing for me isn’t about the owner or the manager or the the coaching staff or the rehab staff, it’s about the actual players.

There just isn’t any hunger there. You’d like to think they’d be fighting tooth and nail to get back to the Championship, simply for the basic reason of a substantially increased salary. But on the whole, I witnessed a total lack of passion and very lazy/pedestrian displays from the experienced players and perhaps signs of complacency from the younger players who have been absorbed into the main squad.

I found last season, even when we were scraping unwarranted wins, completely infuriating.

OK allow me to introduce myself.

The name's Chambers, Luke Chambers, pleased to make your acquaintance.

I'm not abusing you "over this or that". I'm pointing out you essentially wished near death on our owner. Why you can't see why this is wrong is worrying. Try Prozac.

In fairness to Marcus l wish Mick was still here. Even if season ticket sales were down. We may at least still be in the championship. I always looked forward to the start of a season. I have no interest since we dropped this low. None of the players inspire you, they are mostly Sunday morning league standard. The manager is clueless and the owner couldn't give a stuff.

Utter nonsense

Mate this is POST OF THE YEAR !!! You couldn't make it more clear. This is what I've been saying for a while as the players have to take their responsibilities on the pitch.

As you say there is no hunger, no desire among them.

Lambert isn't the only the person to be blamed for all this crap. Yes he is hopeless and would be best if he departed as he doesn't seem capable to rouse this bunch. But we need a big clearout as this squad is rotten. No pressure for the most of them as some of them remain free of criticism for a number of our fans.

This has been a problem at Ipswich I think mentioned before. Was it McGoldrick, possibly Webster who went along them lines, it’s a very ‘nice’ club, not a lot of ambition from the owner, no plan from the owner, no desire from the owner to really strive this club to any serious level. The target was always just maintain Championship status, a very mundane routine, an easy payday, a nice ride for footballers here.

The culture needs changing at this football club, it really does. Some feathers need to be ruffled, some ambition, desire and pride needs to be restored to the football club, we cannot just stroll through season by season floating in the wind.

Sensible move, I can’t believe I’ve just wasted 5+ minutes of my life reading this tripe.

There’s an increasingly fine line between being a wind up merchant, being a troll and just being an absolute tool. I think some are yet to find the right balance!

I’m sorry, but that’s not really in line with what I was told, from a fairly senior player. Camp has been good pre season. There was an altercation last year I was aware of between Norwood and Lambert, whether that’s truly water under the bridge I don’t know, but happens at multiple football clubs up and down the country every week.

I know Lambert isn’t the coach day in day out, Taylor and Gill are a lot more day to day coaches, but to suggest Lambert isn’t close to detail or hold relationships with the players is quite wide of the mark.

From what I was told the players are fine, they are itching to get back to competitive games, and are behind what Lambert is trying to do different this year.

I’m not trying to discredit what you’ve said, but it’s not what a first teamer has directly told me when had a chat with him on Thursday, granted that was prior to a poor Cambridge performance, but can’t imagine the dressing being ‘lost’ over one pre season game.

I'm sorry, but I simply don't believe you.
