The problem is that he's done it at this level previously so would you let him go to a rival in this division where we would almost certainly be forced to subsidise most of his wages? I doubt he'll get Championship offers and he almost certainly wouldn't want to go to league two so not sure there's any point. | |

I think Lambert really likes him but he’s surely one we could get by without.
I reckon El Miz and McGavin will be out on loan.

Fair enough. Disagree though. Skuse is underrated and is a good option to have on the bench. Nolan deserves one more chance IMO.

With Downes going, we need all our experienced players as starters. We will need at least another 6 in midfield for suspensions, obvious injuries and genuine resting. I would keep the lot now and go all in for promotion. Nolan will be good for us this season. |  | | |

This season is critical for our future. We have to get promotion this season. We need experienced players who want to be here. Downes can go, but Nolan, Skuse, Chambers, Sears etc. will be important players in the side or around the bench. | | | |

Surplus: Wilson. Donacien. Skuse. Edwards. Can't imagine clubs are queuing up for them, but if there's any suitors I would snap both of their hands off and trim the squad / wage bill. Would leave us short defensively mind, but frankly I would rather see Chambers at RB than Donacien, should KVY be unavailable. Perhaps look to bring in a young loanee CB / RB once Prem squads are finalised.
