Felt that way with fans last year, even more so this year without them. Just felt like a real training game, no real urgency etc, as you'd expect. Still had more than enough chances to win the game mind you, woodwork 3 times for starters. I don't think anyone particular was really poor, just none had that real urgency that we'd expect to see Sunday in the first league game. I think the only think highlighted was Dozzell in that holding midfielder role, looks outstanding on the ball, but less so on the defensive side on the game, something I alluded to on Saturday. 2nd goal, man spins off him and has the back 4 in front of him, all the time in the world to thread the pass, just felt they had a little bit too much space in that central area, something I think Downes/Sksue would rectify, I still think Dozzell has to play, looks very good going forward, but not as a holder.
