The thread about local beaches got me thinking about walks.
I do love a good walk so if anyone has any favourite ones please share. Anything from 4-8 hours if possible, covering Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, preferably in a loop so I can finish back at my car.

South Lopham/Redgrave Fens. Small, medium, large walks. With the added bonus of seeing the incredible Great Raft Spider.

Southwold to Covehithe:
https://griffmonster-walks.blogspot.com/2013/06/southwold-to-covehithe-circular-

For a short walk, I love the southern walk to Southwold from Walberswick getting the ferry across. But that's not particularly long (which is useful if one overstays one's welcome in the Sole Bay Inn!).

Going north to Covehithe gives a different experience on the beach as opposed to across heathland, and then back through the lanes. I've done the beach walk part of the above route and enjoyed it (not sure what the inland section is like).

Some of the walking along the north Norfolk coast is nice too - you can't necessarily make a circular route, but I was up there last year and the buses worked well.

They’re similar, but some of the Suffolk coastal works are well worth it.

Two loops: Shingle Street to Hollesley Bay prison and back to Shingle Street is great, skirting the spit, and Dunwich towards Walberswick and back via inland woods is even better.

The shingle is a challenge, and when the wind gets up the beach can be a fearsome place, so I'd start with heading north on both of them.

The car's location is a damn good point.

Also I'm a little surprised no one has suggested any actual walks.

Obviously Cleese's goose step would be outdated but there must be other possibilities.

3 churches walk in Moulton. Beautiful.

This pub en route is amazing too. They brew their own beer and have great street food vans.

I know that was then, but it could be again..
