I was in a Starbucks about 5 years ago, wearing a Ramones T-Shirt... A teenage girl wearing the same shirt was in there with some friends, and her friend said, that 'old' guy is wearing the same shirt as you.
I commented back that the band broke up before you were born.
Her comment back was what band?
And just for Badger, anyone want to form a socialist punk band called the Che Guevara T-Shirts?

On a similar note, when I wear my studded jacket I’ve had at least 10 occasions where someone asked where I bought it.
LIKE MATE, THIS JACKET IS FIVE YEARS OF ON/OFF WORK AND STILL AIN’T FINISHED.

Tel sold a lot of his old punk original t-shirts on Ebay a few years ago. They fetched a fair amount, even the one that had "The Strangers" on it 'cos the bloke he got them printed by missed out the L. |  |

I spoke to a guy at El Dorado Airport in Bogota in 2003 who was wearing an Adicts t-shirt, though in this case he claimed to have seen them live.
He was shocked that anyone else had heard of them. |  |
