WEather looks ok - given that its late september, so that's a plus. No way that its going 5 days though, with the 2 bowling attacks on show. I think if Essex can get a first innings score, then they'll win, but Somerset's quicks have been unplayable this season, and essex will really need Sir Alastair to step up at the top of the order, if they want to give Harmer something to bowl at. Has potential to be awesome, but also has the potential to be over in 2 days, which would be a shame.

Absorbing first session - Essex taking 3 early wickets, but a good counter attack by Eddie Byrom sends it pretty much even Steven going into lunch. Essex will want to keep them below 200, but need a quick wicket or 2 after the break.
