Just wondering if the TWTD book club can recommend a couple of humorous football books? Can be autobiographies or any football themed books - but has to be funny.

Thanks in advance.

That's not fair. They've had lots of glory years. Just that for them 'glory' includes participating and that time they got a lot of press coverage because all three of their shirts were a mix of yellow and green.

It's getting on a bit now but The Far Corner by Harry Pearson 'a mazy dribble through North East football'. Still funny though.

I loved Striker every day during lockdown on H&J . The book itself was crap but I tuned i every day for the next episode.

Nobody says thank you ..... the full Brian Clough autobiography, reading it now and apart from an excellent insight into the real Brian Clough , it is also littered with funnies .
What a character he was .... one of of a kind .

Really enjoyed this one - a lot of humour in there as well as sadness.
