Seeing as we are approaching the presidential debates, and with the actual election being only 42 days away, maybe we could keep this as a US election megathread for those on here who are interested? One location for all the discussion would prevent multiple threads clogging up the board for those who don't care to get involved?
Personally, the reality of having to experience this election in the near future is stressful AF so if anyone else wants to get stressed together... Jump on board.
Now, insert all the usual caveats about polling here but...it's looking positive that we will be rid of Trump come 2021, much to the disappointment of a couple of posters on here. 538 are well respected in the field of poll analysis so what they announce should be taken seriously.
Of course their analysis doesn't take account of any election fraud, Russian interference, voter suppression etc. But it's positive news none the less. Once Trump is gone, we can work on Johnson. Decent people of the world... Unite!

To me flimflam will always be the person that helped me out with a ticket for Southend away so that the son of a very good friend could join his Dad on a very much needed (for reasons I can't divulge) day out. Just wanted to put that out there.

I said I didn't think he had Covid and his attitude to the defeat makes me convinced he didn't. Some Americans might have been fooled, as the election was closer than they thought, but it was just a PR stunt that thankfully didn't work. He is a spoilt little child. A terrible excuse of a human being. Get him gone.

Why would the doctors and the hospital staff go along with it then?
The more people in a conspiracy the less likely it is to remain a conspiracy - the simplest explanation is that he did have it and was OK as he had the best care in the world.
It's really not surprising he caught it is it? Look at all the time spent around people without masks.

On BBC News last night before Biden's speech they were quoting a Whitehouse source saying something along the lines of they accept the result of a free and fair election and they will comply with all legal requirements regarding the transition of power. Obviously didn't come from the top, but is a massive change in tone!

People can be strange. I see it all the time over here. Some of the friendliest, most helpful and generous people in person have some really odd views when you get them talking, especially online.
