I've enjoyed the actual games - both of them I've watched - more than I thought I would but it's not the same experience. It's not even the same experience as watching a game on Sky and still seeing the posts of people on here or Twitter on their way to the match.
Joe made the point about football being a communal experience and watching on a laptop at home on my own is a lesser way of watching the match, and indeed for most of us the day out is as big a part of the fun as the actual football.
I should be in the Greyhound now weighing up one last pint or maybe a whisky before heading down the hill. |  |
