This is the big thing I don't get about all these Covid inspired conspiracy theories, where people think Covid is all some big scam to ultimately control the population in some way, either through taking away "liberties" or putting a vaccination in us. These idiots seem to have no idea that "we" are already largely monitored, controlled, influenced, recorded every time we log onto our phones, surf the net, buy something, switch on our smart speakers and, more than anything, engage in social media. If you have some suspicion about Covid, you really are a d1ckhead in not worrying about the current threat first. As an example, from Samsungs Smart TV Privacy Policy:
"You can control your SmartTV, and use many of its features, with voice commands. Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party through your use of Voice Recognition."
So it basically records everything you say within the tv's listening range and sells it to a third party. Frightening. |  |
