Singings from overseas 21:04 - Oct 2 with 1327 viewsGarv

Been massively lacking for almost as long as I can remember and I've always felt it's been an oversight on the clubs behalf.

It's nice to see us taking an interesting approach and taking someone on who hasn't just been around the same old english leagues and academies. Could go either way because he's not played much more than a handful of games all in all, but from everything we can tell so far he fits the bill for what we need. Love a left footer as well.

Very happy with this one. Whatever you think about Lambert, his record of signings is fairly good, so I'm confident.

Bart

Wouldn’t call the Bart signing overseas, rather cross Counties :)

Prem reject marooned abroad and unable to make the grade in a foreign land is hardly an overseas signing. His agent probably faxed, texted and tweeted every team in the league

But I get your drift... it has probably got something to do with Ipswich being one of the more inaccessible clubs in the league for 'foreign travel' and a decade of downward spiral - and the moans heard on TV games if anyone does some homework.

He's from Edgware.

We haven't annexed off London now as part of our bumper EU deal have we?

Most of the Netherlands is closer to Ipswich than parts of the UK! Isn’t Feynoord the nearest top flight club in any league to us now or something like that!
