I’m amazed Boothroyd has lasted this long in that U21 job, he’s not the type of manager to encourage pass and move football, he’s an FA coach from the dark past of English football. My son has played against Andorra through all the age groups, the club not the international team of course. They have always been at a very decent level but that would be Leiston or Lowestoft rather than Lincoln or Luton.
In the last 4 or 5 years they've put a lot of money into grass roots football but the pool of players is so small they're never going to get higher than UK National League level for example.
Pique now owns the main Andorran club side and they are at Spanish regional level.
Andorran football is on the up but that's a serious f-up from Boothroyd. |  | | |
