I know right.

How can anyone say this kind of slander when Boris is only trying his best?

The big question is, who owns PestFix? And what is their connection to the Brexit campaign. (most of these dodgy contracts seem to have a link to the Brexit campaign)

And that is only one example of several isn't it.

Amazing where all this free money comes from.

Mr Matthew John England. Without spending ages googling him I can't find any connections to the Tories so can only assume they have just picked someone with the most British sounding name.

I suppose there's a chance they were awarded the contract as they were the only ones to submit a bid. I know some of these contracts have gone to companies with Tory links, but we can't rule out sheer incompetence as there seems so much of it on display.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

The contracts story and Pest Fix's involvement has been running since at least May/June (?) and back then the government said that, “For completeness, we should add that a number of further contracts have also been agreed with the interested party, full details of which will be published in the coming weeks”

So in four months that has moved right along and finally, at least five months after the legal deadline for reporting the details of the contracts awarded mid-April, more information has been released.

Doesn't look like incompetence to me - it looks like what it almost certainly is.

Lord Lucan should have bid. He was using his Chinese contacts to source PPE earlier in the year wasn’t he? Or maybe he did. Hasn’t been around on here for a while

We used to laugh at countries as corrupt as this, or at least just sell them weapons....

See, what you have to understand, is this is an unprecedented situation, that no country could have foreseen, and so......well yes of course there was that exercise in planning in what to do in a pandemic, and there were recommendations, including stockpiling etc.., but when you ignore the things that were foreseen, and ignore that the recommendations that weren’t executed, then well, you know, errr get behind your country, Dunkirk spirit, errrr mumble.
