We knew this was likely to be our first defeat tonight 19:43 - Oct 20 with 736 viewsWallingford_Boy

So let’s not go mad on one defeat!

Remember, this is very much a second XI as well, and no striker on the pitch!

Like no one thought a few wins against the strugglers of the league meant we were league champions, a defeat against one of the divisions top sides won’t mean we are getting relegated!

Please, be calm.

RIP Sir Bobby

It's half time and we've not lost yet. We also shouldn't be expecting a defeat against Doncaster ffs. They may be decent for this level, but decent for this level is still pretty w@nk.

And we are amazing?!

I’d love a point, really would.. but just can’t see it.

But please, be calm!

A draw wouldn't be the end of the world, but as Herbs says, let's not lose sight of which league we're in.

We should be more positive than you're suggesting there surely.

I think with a stronger team out we’d have a chance.

But the defence is an accident waiting to happen, the midfield without Bish just isn’t the same and we have no striker.

Would love a second half equaliser, just can’t see it.

First game against actual promotion challengers and we are struggling, although we have struggled before but didn't concede.

First bit of real adversity so far this season, lets see how we react. Warning signs have been there that we might come unstuck against the better teams though.

And we should be expecting this to be a defeat if we've any designs on going up.

Yes true, but just being realistic.

This defence will struggle against anyone half decent.

So hope I’m wrong though!
