I'm a bit confused by all of this, as I thought it was a purely political slogan to throw at "the lefties". But it's seemingly not as innocuous as I thought, based on *ahem* extensive research here:

They don't, it's been one of those phrases that gets thrown around by people like you say, without any actual knowledge of what it means or where it comes from.

It's astonishing to me that they are citing something actual modern terrorists also cite without a care in the world.
Think people really need to wake up and realise how close to mainstream this stuff is getting. Sky History nearly broadcast a programme of someone who had neo-nazi crap all over his face.
