My first reaction was clear pen, I'd have been fuming if it was not given the other end.
What Toto did was the sign of a player who does not have a good enough footballing brain, the ball was going out yet he still does that, He's simply not good enough.
A proper centre back would have shepherded it out. Where it was soft or not is besides the point, it just illustrate what we already know - Toto is a poor decision maker. A centre back that makes poor decisions is always going to be a liability.
The guy is strong and physical and those are strengths, he would make a good player for the lower end of this division or a top end League Two defender, but he's not good enough for this level, as has been seen against the better sides. He's not good enough for a promotion chasing side. [Post edited 24 Oct 2020 16:46]
