Boughed. Remember when i lived in the Midlands hearing the phrase, "did you bough her last night" after taking a young lady home. Always made me chuckle when i heard it. RIP Frank.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

A friend of mine worked in production in the early years of Breakfast Time & he said Frank was a great pro & a pleasure to work with. He also told me an interesting story about how the BBC sacked Peter Alliss in the early 1990s after a golf company he was involved with called Compton Holdings went spectacularly bust. Alliss immediately got lawyers on to it, claiming unfair dismissal & he was reinstated within a week.

I attended a black tie dinner many years back. I was there with an American friend of mine who was big on drinking and low on discretion. As a we arrived and I noticed Frank was also there, in a moment of stupidity I pointed Frank out to my companion who had no idea who he was of course. As well as giving details of his day job, I also told my friend of his more colourful activities. He spent the remainder of the evening making loud references to Frank’s indiscretions, which was massively embarrassing. Ever since that night I have always felt a terrible pang of guilt at the mention of Frank Bough.......he seemed like a decent fellow too. How I wished I’d kept my trap shut.
