Wasn't Florida always going that way though?

I'm not up on this like you lot, but I'm sure our Florida correspondant said he sees a lot of Trump support there.

Is that why it's sometimes called the Orange State?

Quietly confident about Biden winning. I do fear, though, the Dems have been complacent. Trump’s been doing 3 or 4 rallies a day whereas Biden has hardly been seen. Assume Dem strategy is let Trump play to his base and hope enough decent people who were tempted by Trump’s nonsense in 2016 will either stay home or switch to Biden.

Do you feel maybe less is more when it comes to Biden atm?

I mean, he is getting on and is prone to the odd mistake himself.

All they need is to get him over the line right? So allow him to do the minimum without risking mistakes.

I know that sounds condescending but you know what I mean. As you say, Trump is out there hanging himself, and if they have allowed him enough rope maybe...

I think you’re exactly right; Biden is clearly not at 100% so keeping him out of the spotlight is probably deliberate. Trump is such a vile individual, I hope he gets absolutely trounced tomorrow. And then he and his idiot sons get arrested.

Not being the brightest, how can Trump declare a win when he has spent the oast 4 years bleating about widespread 'voter fraud' ?

Something were it to exist would invalidate that supposed win

Because 1) He has no shame 2) his cultists will fall for it 3) his tame cheerleaders will take it up and tun with it 4) he's built his reputation on being a 'winner', admitting defeat would be anathema to him 5) the second he is out of the White Supremacy House there's a LOT of criminal activity, nepotism and corruption to be investigated.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

It reminds me of this all so much.

Mama, just killed tens of thousands of men.
Pulled the face masks from their heads, spread my virus now their dead.
7 billion wish he had never been born at all.

My gut feeling is Trump may actually hang onto every state from 2016.
