Ah, He as in Trump. AZ is very strange right now, and there are some counties with a high level of votes to come in. I do feel the AP called it WAYYYYYY too early.

Lead of 90k, but 600,000 votes put there. Most are in Dem areas and all are mail in. That’s why i think Fox and AP called it.

Just watched their presser. Utter lunacy.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if AZ is a curveball and ends up for Trump, clearing the way for him to hang on. It's so close. That's not an informed view though; I just expect the worse and then can't be disappointed.

Think it more likely that AZ will eventually go to Trump, but PA will flip to Biden and render the former irrelevant.

CNN reporting an hour or so ago that Trump is gaining 59% of the last bucket of votes being counted of which there are 200,000 to go. They think it will be enough for Trump to take it.

Although they are also saying Biden will win PA by 100k votes, so that would make every other state irrelevant.

Fingers crossed

I read elsewhere that the best thing would be if Biden can take Arizona and hold Nevada as that would actually take Pennsylvania out of play - by my calculations that single electoral college vote from Nebraska would result in a 270 v 268 to Biden if Trump took PA. If Biden gains Georgia it just secures his position even further.

Wouldn't surprise me, it's going to be super close in PV. Biden's closed the gap and there's still 600k votes out there to count.

Worrying thing is if PA goes to the supreme court then the election could be decided by the Republican majority.

Definitely. If Biden wins AZ and NV he need not worry about PV. As was the case yesterday he just needs to hold where he's leading. I really can't see Trump swinging AZ from here.

That’s why Arizona and Georgia are so important, the latter particularly. If Biden can claim at least one of those and keep hold of Nevada then Pennsylvania can stay red without having an impact on the electoral college, which makes the complaining futile. Obviously we have already seen Trump turn his ire on Michigan but, if Biden takes both AZ and GA plus holds NV then MI could be red too alongside PA; this would result in a 270 v 268 to Biden due to Nebraska’s solitary electoral college vote for him. Next in line for Trump would be Wisconsin but I’m not sure what is line of attack will be there, other than the recount request.

The only way it could go to the Supreme court is if inconsistencies exist across counties, which given they imposed a last minute provisional vote rule before the polls opened, could well happen.

Either way, I would imagine they would re-poll the state rather than arbitrarily nullify votes, but who knows- this is the united states of Trump we're going up against.

They have an added number now who was not involved in those.

Was tied 4 - 4 as one voted against his own party but another challenge would see a 5 - 4 in favour.

They could potentially vote to nullify any votes received after election day.

I don't think the Supreme Court would be willing to destroy it's integrity however much they would prefer a Trump win. He's using delay tactics. He knows he will lose but the longer he can string it out the more chance of an opportunity for him to take advantage of. It's a long shot but he has nothing to lose.

I actually think the Supreme Court and other more moderate republicans will leave Donald high and dry if it seems like a lost court, particularly if a Senator run-off occurs in Georgia. No SPJ wan't to be impeached by a senate that could swing slightly democrat in January if the run-offs go their way.

They could, but they can't make the law to suit their leanings and they've said twice it is a state issue.

The PA count process was agreed in the PA Supreme Court and is all above board.
