I know I’m biased because I probably like Mick an irrational amount but... 15:48 - Nov 7 with 1063 viewsSwailsey

I really don’t see how people can be remotely happier with ITFC now.

Why is there not the same level of discontent? The football is occasionally mildly better, but we’re a league below, against worse players.

Mick did have to go probably, it was untenable - and I appreciate that just because his successors were poor doesn’t change that. But things were absolutely brutal on here, disgusting under him.

How is this not worse? I’ve never felt so empty about Town. I miss the feeling of joy, excitement, hope!

I’ll keep paying the season ticket, keep buying the shirt, keeping supporting (and I know some will be unhappy about that - lining the pockets of the owner - but we’re in a pandemic, the club needs us). But I miss my club.

And we scored halfway through this. That doesn’t change anything.

The vitriol isn’t remotely the same as it was under Mick’s last season or even under Hurst or Jewell.

Why is this? Are people just numb to it now? Is it expected?

It's because of how we play relative to the league we're in I suspect. Under Hurst we were dreadful and he was a horrible little poisoned dwarf who ripped the team apart, spent what little money we had on crap and had us at the bottom by some distance. Under Mick it had gone flatter than a witch's tit and we were getting progressively worse playing exceedingly dull percentage based hoofball.

So far this season up until a few games ago we were playing really well. It was enjoyable to watch, producing results and we could all hope and dream that we'd carry on and go back up this season (we still might of course). But everyone was unhappy last season from well before Xmas. And if we again start to go off the rails like last season people will be unhappy again (it's already started).

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
