Lambert out..... 17:58 - Nov 7 with 2800 views | Bloots | .....we can't blame the ref for us continuing to play dull, pedestrian, ponderous, negative football. Only one man is to blame for that.

Lambert out..... on 18:26 - Nov 7 by TheTrueBlue1878 | I highly suspect the instruction aren’t, take as long as you can around the back, take as many touches as you can, and be as slowly as possible as you can on the ball. Just a hunch. |
Then why does it keep happening, if the players aren’t following his instructions why do they keep getting picked, decent competent managers would drop players who repeatedly don’t follow instructions. Strangely when we play with pace and tempo we look like we can beat every team in this league so why do we play like a league 2 team for 60 minutes every game.

Yes, he plainly does..... on 18:14 - Nov 7 by Bloots | ....there is an obvious change in style of play this season, do you think they've come up with it themselves? Even a happy clapper like you can surely see that he is telling them to play that way?! If the players aren't good enough to play that way, then the manager needs to find another way to play. Persisting with this will only end one way. |
the players don’t take any responsibility to make a forward pass, or take responsibility to play with any tempo, or take responsibility to limit their touches. Unfortunately, whilst you like to drop it all at Lamberts doorstep, when the players cross the they have to take some responsibility as well. Now crack a beer, enjoy your Saturday night, because you are clearly getting yourself flustered and worked up. Evening Bloots [Post edited 7 Nov 2020 18:33]

It's not the best way to play football..... on 18:21 - Nov 7 by judespiveyg | Our squad is capable of playing out from the back, as the second half shows. Huws and Nolan just aren't very good at it. Bishop and Dozzell are much better at it, hence why they start most games. Given that professional football wouldn't exist if it wasn't for spectators, I would argue there's an obligation to try and play the most entertaining football possible, therefore passing football should always be hoped for, and be considered the 'best' way to play football. |
But we continue to be only able to play in spells and get punished for mistakes. Its not good enough.

Apparently after two years of faffing around doing sod all, it's now a long term plan and should have more time.

It's also better in the opposition half rather than along your own 18 yard line
