Quite.

Some of the denial is almost of Trump proportions at times.

Game of two halves. The first half was abysmal. A patient approach with no change in tempo or willingness to break the lines. The second half was excellent with plenty of mobility and willingness to move the ball at pace, movement off the ball and to get forward.

Play like the second half the rest of the season we’ll in with a shout of promotion. Play like the first half, we’ll be mid-table at best.

Edwards and Norwood made a huge difference yesterday.

Weird. I felt the other way.

First half was mind numbing with the 2 CB's ending with a big hoof up after about 20 passes between themselves.

Second half was a lot better.

We still do too many backward passes. some points we were well into their half, but just to keep the ball, we played it right back to the defenders to start again......we aren't bayern munich unfortunately. Get it in and around the bloody box and /or have a shot!

True that. Once they'd established early on that Cornell might be a bit iffy they were happy to take a long shot if the opportunity presented itself.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
