You get a small financial reward in the cups, which increases the bigger the attendance or the stadium you play in, which is why we all want Man Utd away because we get half the gate receipts. Take away the crowds and they drop even lower down the pecking order. What's the best we could hope for this season? A Wembley final none of us could go to.
Staying in L1 another season means we'd be subject to the salary cap and probably lose several of our best players.

Before losing to Exeter last season, we tried to lose to Peterborough. However - our youngsters played with spirit and we accidentally won a penalty shoot-out. I suspect that PL was furious, and vowed that it would never happen again |  |
