It's almost 3 years since Malcolm Young passed away. Personally didn't think that rocks finest ever band would release another album, but, they have and i'm very pleased. It is, in my humble opinion, very good also. A couple or three off the new album for anyone who is interested.
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.

Love AC/DC but to me they haven't made a really good album since back in black and that's forty years old.
Back in Black was the benchmark by which all subsequent albums with Johnson as vocalist are judged unfortunately. There were a few very average ones, Fly on the Wall and Rock or Bust, but this new album is pretty damn good.
I am a biased old bastard though.

Sounds good to me. Read a few articles and interviews with them this week and was looking forward to hearing it and also hoping it wasn't sh!t, sometimes bands come back after a while and it's been awful but no worries on that front.

Fair enough, but as a massive fan, i mostly love the stuff they record. Live, brilliant, loud, good, fun, sex, drugs and rock n roll.
I've seen them live numerous times but from a personal point of view it's the old stuff that makes the show brilliant bar a few exceptions. When they toured with Axl Rose I wasn't going to go but glad I did. His rendition of High Voltage was superb.

Their stuff is pretty easy to play on the guitar, a great way to spend an evening is making a playlist of stuff of theirs that I can play then turning the speakers and amp right up and have a good old thrash along. For example this riff is played only on one string, even though i'm probably playing at less than the speed than Angus it's still the mutt's playing long with.
