I'm told the case rises in Ipswich are partly down to people visiting their families in houses

That was one of the reasons Scotland tried to tighten up their measures a while back

The local newspaper published figures up to the same date (7 days up to November 16th) and they are nowhere near 169.

The Guardian data for Suffolk disagrees with the data from the official map, that the Guardian attributes as its source.

https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map

The official map has Suffolk as 84.5, down 2.6% on the previous day. Both maps say they include data up to the 16th Nov.

This is all just soooooo confusing but the doubling does seem somewhat extreme and yet on your map can we really be such an island of relative calm!?

If you zoom in it's not really a bed of calm but a very patchy story. Hadleigh has a rate of 600+, though it was 900+ a week ago!

Hadleigh has been something of a hotspot for the past week which may have distorted the County figure.
