The reality is no one knows what he is thinking, and with no one going to games (including in the boxes etc) there aren't even chances for anyone to get a feel for what he is thinkiing |  |

Looking at his time here....all the guff off the pitch hasn't been backed up with anything on it.

It does beg an interesting problem really - assuming Lambert goes, and I feel many people believe that to be correct now, who comes in and more importantly what is their remit? Are they expected to go up in their first season, are they expected to chase that Evans unicorn of premiership 5 point plans or must we accept someone who can rebuild... yet again.
What would a new manager's success criteria be and the timeline we give him, as a club and as fans.

The problem is, we need Evans' money. While he hasn't been progressing us we'd have been tits up in the current financial climate, and I am not just talking about the administration swerve either.

I wouldn't give him this week.
I have supported Ipswich for 45 years and never called for a manager to be sacked until now.
This is not grumpy old age it is that he not only has continually shown he has no idea how to get the best out of the team but his delusional post match interviews are insulting.
I watch matches then listen to him and either,
1. I am in some parallel universe that didn't see what he saw,
2. He is such a genius that what he sees passes mortals like me by,
3. He is full of BS
If he came out and said that this is not good enough but this is what we are going to do and then did it, I would give him a chance and some respect. But taking us for mugs is too much.
