Well given we'll have to pay off that contract, Evans has felt the squeeze and won't be wanting to spend anymore on the club he'll go for a cheap feelgood option like Dyer. That will convince people to renew and get excited until the ball is kicked and nothing has changed.
We could change manager 10 times between now and next year, it's irrelevant, same budget, squad, injured players, bad set up, average facilities and so on. Until Evans goes nothing will change. It's him not PR Paul whos at fault for all of this crap. |  |

They are and from what I saw of them at Lincoln, they understand how a club can and should be at the heart of the town in which it’s based - but without being rabble rousers. I’ve warmed to them after being worried about them needing a Matt Rhead in every team which isn’t the case.

I like Paul Cook I have to say, I think someone mentioned he was at Chesterfield and had relative success, although didn’t really follow career until he brought his Portsmouth side here in the FA Cup, filled with really good quality, Webster, Enda Stevens, Marc McNulty, Kyle Bennett shone.
But think I read you mention Cowleys a few weeks back and did some reading on them, very impressed with the brothers, us right now, seems to have the feel from interviews of how it was when they went to Lincoln, they said ‘Lincoln was a club still mourning the fact they had been relegated from previous years’.

Somebody who cares about the club, somebody who understands it and what a club like it needs. As Mowbray is well out of our league and wouldn’t work for a c£&k like Evans, I’d go for Dyer and give him the remit to run the club with whatever help he needed, whether that a DoF or a magic wand.
But the club is rotten to the core and possibly too far gone now, but I think somebody like him is the best hope. |  | | |

Cowleys for me out of those who are currently jobless, pragmatists who will play to a style that suits our players and can coach a team. They are also local and Marcus has talked to them before ( when Mick was in final year he did talk to them in December that year before Mick walked out and we then appointed Hurst ).
