Apparently we should have been more ruthless in both boxes.
I just watched the highlights.
They show 5 attempts to Hull and 1 for us (which was nothing more than a half-chance).
I am not sure ruthlessness in the boxes is where the failing lies.
Not creating chances; defenders standing off leaving players with a free shot in the box; defender caught the wrong side to leave a tap in from the six-yard box; a total inability to even compete with any of the sides in the top 8. |  |

Not a goalkeeping coach but I think you are setting very high standards to expect any goalkeeper to save those shots.
First goal would have been applauding a very good save if he had got to it.
Second goal no chance.
Third goal one-on-one and the striker slots it firmly wide of him. | |

That's not how I saw it to be honest. Not sure I'd be expecting a goalie to keep either of those out, not the pace at which they were struck and the time he had to react. We've got far bigger issues, with those goals and more generally, than Holy. | |

The first was a good strike, but I think Holy’s size doesn’t help, he can look slow in getting down for those low shots, like he’s diving in stages, it also looks like he's slightly diving backwards instead of forwards to close off the angle. Not a lot of chance with the second. The third looks like it’s gone through his legs, it’s the right area to put the ball against any goalkeeper, but with Holy’s size it’s especially difficult to close the legs or get down to when the ball is so close to his feet. I’m not too convinced Holy has improved much since he’s been with us, although he has a lot of physical attributes to be a decent goalkeeper he does seem to get beaten too easily at times, but I’m not overly impressed with Cornell either from what I’ve seen.
