As we're all sat around waiting for the inevitable to happen, what are you thankful for?
This year, I am mostly happy that my friends and family have escaped any serious 'rona problems in the main. I am also thankful that there has been no commuting and that my 8.59am alarm will be in place for months to come yet.
Very hygge. Very mindfulness.

that my family has so far avoided the virus (to our knowledge)
for the vaccines and the incredibly talented people (especially @ Oxford Uni) who made them
to AstraZenica for not taking a profit during the pandemic meaning this vaccine, all being well, won't just save us but the many poorer countries as well.
that live sport is back. Even without fans it has kept me sane.
for TWTD and all of you. Whether we argue or agree, it's always a great place to post.
to Blue Badger and the NHS. The least we can do is give you a pay rise and if you don't get one we will kick off until they u-turn.
to the forgotten essential workers - care home staff, supermarket workers, firefighters, police, pharmacy staff etc
to Blue Action for being blue. And taking action.
to my family and friends who have kept me sane on whats app, skype, facetime and dare I say, TWTD.
to JCBLUE for realising that I am the better man and no longer infringing upon my copyright
to footers and spruce. Our uneasy alliance is much better than last year arguing repeatedly
that we live in a country that however bad the people in charge might be, is still bloody great and we are incredibly lucky to have been born here completely at random or able to move here.
that despite all of our protestations, we still deeply care about this club. We can pretend we are numb but we know we aren't really.

An excellent post, eggers! I couldn't agree more.
I too have been enjoying our friendship this year. But that BlueBadger just does all that work for the claps and gold-plated pension, wouldn't trust a word he says.

Love you too man. I officially pardon you from the crime of being Young Benters. You are now Young Factors. Congratulations.
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."
You can't be young factorz, that is already taken by me.
Spruce, pick someone else.
I always saw you as more of a sexy Jeera to be honest.

Oh dear. A contact has just come out as a conspiracy nutter. The virus was to depopulate us. I asked why there are restrictions then. "I don't know, i'm not that clever".
