Was Maradona better than Ronaldo and Messi?
Unfortunately, I’m too young to have watched much of him in his prime, and I’ve often felt the standard of football has significantly improved over time. However, watching the footage back, I was struck by just how bad the tackling was. Every game, almost every time he dribbled, there was what would be described as a potential career ending tackling nowadays, and most of the time he glides out of the way.
