You are not speaking for me.

Hmmmm. I think half the problem is that these players are not as good as people think. They are very ordinary indeed.

I disagree. Huws is the perfect example of this. Easily a Championship quality player, we’ve seen it but he’s unrecognisable from the player we saw against Newcastle. Why can’t PL get that type of performance out of him?

We can all see Dozzell’s natural ability, why hadn’t his game improved much?

Judge is trying to do everything and achieving nothing, why isn’t he being coached and man managed properly to play in a system / unit?

Why does Thomas Holy look a less decisive keeper than he was when he arrived after Jimmy Walker has had him for 18-months?

I believe the ability is there but no-one hits it consistently and that’s down to the management staff.

Poll: Who would be your managerial preference between these two?

They don't speak for me either - but it's not the question of Lambert in/out i disagree with

Shambo
Uppa Towen

It's all a bit tinpot

Exactly this for me and im surprised many dont have the same opinion. Although the majority of us agree with the sentiment, a statement would suffice. Imagine the players would turn up to training pretty embarrassed by that, the writing of 'Shambo' is pathetic and needless.

Nor me. Half a first team out injured, half a team of rookie youngsters playing the league leaders, PL following the clubs Academy pathway plan. And as soon as a few results go against us (very controversially in some cases) fans go into a total panic, lose all patience with the strategy and seek to turn the club upside down again. You know who you are.

Strategy? We haven't got one! All we do is tap it about at the back, whilst the opposition sit back and watch us. Thats regardless of who is fit and playing.

Why would the players be embarrassed? It’s not on them.

They play for a team who's fans have turned up to a photoshoot with a cringey banner at their training ground.

I think you could be over estimating just how much these plyers care about Ipswich.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

I'm sure someone posted last week that we have the oldest (average?) team in the league so we aren't playing enough youngsters.

Ok, we don't really want a team of teenagers but I don't see how Dobra doesn't get on the bench when various other players seem to mostly start, who aren't very good.

Also, it Annoys me that we can't beat a "decent" team. That's never a good sign.

Oh and also were hopeless with 2 up front.

You say not very good players? the players/squad we have for this league is I believe, is very good, but not being motivated, playing out of position, playing to systems that may not suit is where the problems lie, which stops with the management team. Do we have a strategic team that learn and find weaknesses in opposing teams? How many times have we seen one player run the show for an opposing team and obvious to most is to stop the source, but nothing is done, just play the same add a couple of subs and hope for the best, more poor management.

To be fair the OP is a fairly decent chap and I can sympathise with him, and others, who have more tolerance for the situation. Even if they're unhappy with Lambert, the grass has hardly been greener for us when we've been in this situation before.
