I don't think he'll get a Prem job. More likely to get a promotion chasing project in the Champ, or failing that may drop down to Celtic.

Can't see him taking a L1 job. Also recovering from recent health issues, so prob not keen to take on the role of CEO, DoF and first team coach at PR.

Sure your right Bud . Likely to be Cowley or Cook as things stand unless Marcus hangs around too long before giving him the chop .

It's been touted by many on other channels. Why you felt the need to start a thread about him when he is clearly out of our range is still a mystery to me though. I'll start a Klopp thread just to make sure he doesn't come here.

Agree with most of that. Doubt think he’ll need to drop as low as Celtic.

Eddie Howe on 09:04 - Nov 28 with 2939 views | Ace_High1 | If you watched him on Monday Night Football last week, I think there is a high probability he will not take another management job. He did not seem that keen when asked and if you look at what happened at Burnley I think he realises Bournemouth was much more than a job due to his connection with the place. I expect him to move into an administrator role in the FA.
Eddie Howe on 09:15 - Nov 28 with 2915 views | shamboy | To prospective managers there is a very short list of questions to be asked, either at first interview or second interview. If they get the answer they want to these questions, Paul Cook, Eddie Howe, or anyone else would come to a great club like Ipswich. The questions are: What will be my terms and conditions (obviously)? What is the playing budget? Can I bring in my own people? How easy will it be for the club to shift those people (players and others) who I don't want to keep? What is the transfer kitty? Therein lies the rub. Not much else really matters.

Got a nice little buffer there for him to sit back and relax with on the south coast, I wouldn't blame him if he called it a day.

Because for anyone who is able to bring success, it is a wonderful job. Town's rightful place, like Norwich's, is bottom half of Prem / top half of Championship. So, it could a great job in its own right, and a perfect stepping stone to a job with a top ten club. Worth adding that prospective managers also look at whether they have a hard act to follow, as this steers expectations. Not a deterrent, in our case! [Post edited 28 Nov 2020 11:21]

It is one of the easier jobs in football, although expectations up there are high they're only competing realistically with one other Club, though saying that it might not be challenging enough for him.. Bet he regrets not taking a bigger job when he had Bournemouth at their best..
