It needs someone who will be tough and have high standards but who also has the ability to judge how to get the best out of players. Someone who has multiple ways to manage people and knows when someone needs an arm around a shoulder and when someone needs a kick up the backside.
Unfortunately we appear unable to spot who can do that and appoint appropriately. | |
